“It’s been a hectic past few weeks but you have been constantly on my mind and so I am taking this time to say thank you SO much for helping Sanae prepare for her auditions and for the guidance you’ve given me through the process of booking her sessions with you.

You have been such a beacon of light since I met you and seeing how well you and Sanae connected helped me realize why. I’m also grateful that the universe has made us cross paths so that you could be part of her journey. I always say, it takes a village…
I have reached out to a number of people (before meeting you and after) to work with Sanae and the alignment just didn’t happen. I spoke to about 3 people before I called you over the holidays and during each conversation, I kept seeing your face. And, so it was clear…I had to make a few sacrifices so I could cover the cost for Sanae to work with you. When we left your house, after the first session last week, Sanae said your singing “moved her insides” (I’m paraphrasing). She compared your singing to how she feels when she listens to music at a certain volume that just makes her want to dance and move. I smile thinking about her description. Sanae has her big audition tomorrow at Etobicoke School of the Arts (she had her drama audition for Cardinal Carter today) and I’m beyond excited and hopeful for her! She’s been talking about wanting to go to Arts school since grade 6. Imagine? I will let you know how the auditions go. Sending you lots of light! :)”  Kizzy Paris – Program Facilitator in Youth Work

“I was thrilled to hear that Carolyn was the key note speaker for the Woman’s Worth Seminar.  From the moment I met Carolyn, I knew we were kindred spirits!  She is passionate about life and has a bigger than life presence.  With her friendly and welcoming presence, she connects with her audience with ease and flow. Her dynamic energy draws people to her and her key note presentation was brilliant.  When she asked for volunteers, so many hands went up for the opportunity to work with her.  To our joy and amazement she shared with us gems and fun exercises to create a powerful presence, how to think on our feet, project clearly while reaching our own audience with our voice and with confidence.  She had the volunteers say the fun phrase from “My Fair Lady” through “The rain in spain falls mainly on the plane.”  This simple and powerful fun exercise showed us how we can speak clearly, pronouncing our words and reach a full room.  I am still singing the song and remembering the day’s event with Carolyn! Everyone left with a take away about confidence and tapping into our own genius!  I would recommend Carolyn to anyone who wants to grow themselves and their business.” Moira Sutton, Life & Success Coach www.successbreakthrough.com

“Words cannot describe how helpful Carolyn helped identify my weakness in speaking to the public. I was a complete mess in speaking to the public, i twisted my words, i over think what i wanted to say and was speaking too fast for anyone to understand me.The public speaking program with Carolyn helped me control my speech, identified my weakness and brought out the confidence in me. I will recommend Carolyn to anyone who wishes to find their inner voice and be comfortable speaking to the public. I cannot wait to start my next session.Money well spent.” Houdou Dene – Engineer

My husband Matthew and I were recently married on August 29th 2015. We had decided from the start of our wedding planning that we wanted a singer to sing our first dance; the song we chose was I believe in you and me by Whitney Houston. We searched the internet and came across Carolyn Thompson and were instantly blown away by her beautiful voice. I contacted her and asked if she would do us the honour to sing our first dance; thankfully she was available. Our wedding day came quickly, Carolyn brought her powerhouse voice and totally knocked the song out of the ball park! Our guests were in awe and talked about what an extraordinary voice she has for the entire evening. Thank you Carolyn for making our first dance as husband and wife so very special. That is a memory my husband and I will always hold dear to our hearts.” Michelle Anderson – Human Resources Generalist

“Working with you was fantastic and I knew from our first conversation that it would be a great fit! Thanks for all of your help and guidance with the technical aspects. The band was incredible and I have heard nonstop how rad you guys were…and rightfully so. Thanks for making this event really amazing.” Ryan Hayward – Community Projects Coordinator Diane Frankling Housing Co-operative Annual Pride Party

“Carolyn came to our home to perform for my father in law’s 80th birthday bash. We knew from the start that Carolyn and her band would provide the ultimate best in sound and performance. Not only is Carolyn’s voice powerfully superb, but she is absolutely loveable and gorgeous to watch, and it is impossible NOT to enjoy being in her presence. She created an atmosphere that was comfortable for all – from the 80 year olds to the 5 year olds. Carolyn can do it all and I wouldn’t hesitate to refer her for any gig – night club, wedding, intimate party…  Carolyn can create the perfect experience.” Jill Baker Jillbakeryoga@gmail.com
